Fall Shows 2011
Aquarian traveled to Dallas in October 2011 to produce the American Trucking Associations Annual Management Conference & Exhibition. The show was held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, TX. Hard and soft set pieces complimented three large video screens. Theatrical lighting was used to enhance the graphic design for each of the different sessions. A dais with a built-in moderator podium was added to the multipurpose stage. At the annual banquet, Aquarian provided the production and staging support for the Grammy award-winning group, Diamond Rio.

Also, Aquarian produced Daimler Trucks North America’s Customer VIP dinner, which was held at the Southfork Ranch in Parker, TX. Aquarian booked Rascal Flatts, the most awarded Country group of the past decade, to perform at this private event. They wowed the audience with a concert performing their greatest hits.

Spring Entertainment
In March of 2011, Aquarian produced an entertainment event in conjunction with the 2011 Truckload Carriers Association’s annual convention in San Diego, CA. The show, held at the San Diego Convention Center, required a cost-effective entertainment act to energize the audience.
A household name in Las Vegas, Gordie Brown is also becoming a favorite choice for corporate shows and events nationwide. Aquarian hired him to perform his variety show with his full band, which highlights his talents as a musician, comedian and impressionist.

Aquarian coordinated the entertainment and stage managed CTIA’s March 2011 gala event at The Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL. Lady Antebellum performed a full concert and Aquarian utilized all of the venue’s production, plus brought in an additional two trucks of their own gear to supplement.
The certified platinum band is a multiple Grammy award-winner and has had three number one singles “I Run To You” from their self-titled first album, and both the smash hit “Need You Now” and “American Honey” from their second album, "Need You Now." This progressive band proved to be a great entertainment selection for our client, selling out the show.

Due to the economy and current political climate, Aquarian has hired the comedy troupe The Capitol Steps for several recent events. Most recently in May 2011, Aquarian was called on by the American Trucking Associations to help to produce their annual PAC event at the infamous Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Also, in November 2010, Aquarian booked The Capitol Steps to provide entertainment for the National Air Transportation Association’s annual PAC event at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, VA.

Press Events
In March of 2011, Aquarian traveled to Las Vegas, NV to produce a Freightliner Trucks press event which introduced their new “Work Smart” vocational truck line. This launch was held at the Red Rock Casino. Aquarian designed the concept, performed multiple site visits and staged the individual trucks in construction themed vignettes using theatrical lighting and scenery. Aquarian stage managed this launch, as well as a formal press conference the next morning.

Also in March 2011, Aquarian traveled to Louisville, KY to produce a Daimler Trucks North America press event at the Mid-America Trucking Show at the Kentucky Exposition Center. DTNA executives presented their state of the company address and discussed upcoming plans for both their Freightliner and Western Star truck brands. Aquarian supported HD Keynote and PowerPoint presentations, as well as media-served monitor walls, sound, lighting and graphic creation.
