FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 2005
McLean, VA
The Town Crier welcomed attendees to ATA's Management
Conference and Exhibition (MC&E) in Boston, MA, and
the colonial setting quickly expanded with the addition
of fife and drum performers and a historically-clad
color guard. Aquarian Entertainment and Production
Services (Aquarian) created a colonial backdrop
to the entire event with an historical set design,
beautifully coordinated graphics and extensive, large-scale
staging, fully-flexible lighting instruments and design,
state-of-the-art sound mixing and reinforcement and
super-sharp video imaging. Governor Bill Graves, President
of ATA, opened with a welcoming presentation that brought
the challenges of today's trucking industry into focus.
Former Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham brought the
real world of Washington challenges into the mix as
high fuel prices continue to haunt the industry. Washington,
DC newsman and moderator, Stuart Varney, shared observations
and hosted panels pinpointing industry concerns regarding
the regulatory process in the United States.
Traditional programs including "Share the Road" and
"America's Road Team" both remained important efforts
for ATA, with "Share the Road" providing "blind spot"
demonstrations across the country and "America's Road
Team" electing top industry drivers to make those demonstrations
and speak to the local media.
When the heavy lifting concluded, attendees kicked
back with the never-ending blue collar humor of Jeff
Foxworthy. Foxworthy created an instant connection
with his audience and his comedy was right on the money
for a packed house. Aquarian provides clients with innovative
solutions for all of their meeting needs by utilizing
the extensive experience of Aquarian’s event
management team to produce compelling creative designs,
delivering leading entertainers and keynote
speakers and executing the “live” event
flawlessly with the highest possible production values.
