Aquarian Entertainment and Production Services produced
a Five Day series of meetings for the largest trucking
company in North America, Freightliner LLC. In the
middle of NASCAR country the weeks’ activities
included events at the Penske garage and Dale Earnhardt
Jr’s racing facility.
The Charlotte Convention Center provided the backdrop
for multiple meetings including; body builders, dealer
strategy, parts sales and one-on-one product comparisons
to ferret out the truth from fiction in competitors
claims. Aquarian created multiple vignettes with original
sets and scenic propelling the NASCAR theme with large,
round “racing wheel” set pieces split by
a similar round large I-mag/graphic projection screen
and high tech, heavy metal accessories. Full size Freightliner
trucks and stand alone engines peppered the multiple
venue transformed convention center. Sales techniques
included specific comparisons with competitors. In
addition to stand-up comparisons, a live set change
revealed a mock Senate Hearing Room as four Freightliner “Senators” questioned
a supposed competitor regarding the claims
they make about their trucks, discrediting each point.
Aquarian also provided motivational speaker Aron Ralston,
who survived a mountaineering accident, but was forced
to remove his own hand to escape and survive.
The collaborative creativity developed between Aquarian and Freightliner continues to grow and blossom. The
demand for post conference materials including the
mock senate hearing and a highlights package of the
entire event proves that point. For Aquarian this
event kicks off yet another apparent growth year, the
fifth
in a row.
